About this Lake Geneva cruise guide
This is an independent guide to the Lac Léman cruises you can actually book in 2026. Lac Léman is the crescent lake that Geneva, Lausanne, Vevey and Montreux sit on, in Switzerland, with the French shore across the water. It is not Lake Geneva in Wisconsin, which is a different lake with its own boats.
We compare every real cruise we can send you to, CGN scheduled sailings and private charters alike, on price, rating, route, and what each trip passes on the water: the Jet d'Eau off Geneva, the Lavaux vineyard terraces, the Riviera towns, the towers of Château de Chillon.
How we check the listings
Every cruise card is read off the operator's live booking listing, so the price, duration and departure point match what the operator is selling right now. The background facts, CGN's fleet and season, Château de Chillon, the Swiss Travel Pass rules, come from primary sources.
We print a rating or a review count only when it verifies. Where a number could not be confirmed twice, the card says "reviews on the listing" instead, and ships no aggregate rating. We would rather show less than show something we cannot stand behind.
Switzerland, not Wisconsin
Search "Lake Geneva cruises" and you hit two very different places: the Swiss Lac Léman, and a resort lake in Wisconsin. This site is only about the Swiss one. If you landed here looking for the Wisconsin boats, this is the wrong lake.
